
Who are they?
Human rights organization, independent of any government or political persuasion. (A Voice for the Voiceless) It exists to serve those who are persecuted for their Christian beliefs. CSW are respected as a credible source of accurate and unbiased information
What do they do?
CSW’s primary work is advocacy; speaking on behalf of others through high-level political lobbying and influencing key decision makers whose policies or actions affect the oppressed in order to document and raise awareness of religious persecution and to ensure that every Christian in the UK is aware of the persecution of Christians and is actively doing something about it. They undertake regular fact-finding visits in order to gather firsthand testimonies of religious persecution in numerous countries
What can we do to be help or be involved?
PRAY
o You can attend one of the prayer events held throughout the year
o Subscribe to receive CSW’s bi-monthly Prayer Diary
o Sign up to receive Urgent Action e mails which encourage prayer and action
o Join or set up a persecuted Church support group in your area
PROTEST
o Write letters on selected issues to your MP, MEPs and other carefully chosen advocacy targets
o Sign up to receive bi-monthly magazine Response, which offers various ways for you to protest on religious freedom issues.
o Attend one of CSW protests
o Take part in one of CSW campaigns organised throughout the year
PROVIDE
o Make a regular monthly donation to support CSW’s work for human rights
o Send cards and letters to prisoners and endangered Christians through CSW’s Connect & Encourage address list
o Organise an event to raise funds for the work
o Sign up to join the network of church representatives around the UK
o Purchase an alternative gift for friends and family from CSW’s alternative gift list
o Leslie is walking the Great Wall of China in October organized by CSW to raise awareness and funds.
