The Afrigroup
What is it?
This is an informal, growing and welcoming group of 40 adults and children for anyone interested in or connected with Africa. Some of us are born in Africa, some have visited and some are just interested. It is not restricted to CGC; some members are from other churches and very welcome.
When do you meet?
We meet once a month straight after church on Sunday from about 12.30pm. Contact Tony for dates of the next meeting.
Where do you meet?
We meet at 34 Wickham Crescent, Chelmsford CM1 4WD, off Broomfield Road.
What can I expect?
So far there is no format, just food, drink and chat which works fine and everyone seems to enjoy it, but we are considering perhaps more structure and any ideas or comments are welcome. Catering is shared.
